My amplifier stopped working suddenly. Extremely low audio comes out of the speaker (so low you have to crank up the volume and put your ear up to the speaker). I checked the boards and fuses and everything looks fine. Do you have a link to the replacement power board? I can't find one online. If that would even fix it.

Consider using more relevant title such as “how to extend your local area network using your now redundant coaxial cable”. In my case, I literally am looking for the easiest way to route ethernet cable (twisted pair) between floors of my house. As often the case with the Internet generation these days, imagine my amusement when the conclusion was right at the end. Run ethernet on coaxial cable… Wow, you mean like I used to do it it for our after-school LAN parties! 10base2 it was back then and it was 10mbps over a coaxial (2 conductors with the same center). 10baseT came a little later with the same rj45s and style of cable and connectors that we use today. IEEE must be utterly ashamed that they want designed a connector that would last over 50 years when compared to the complete dogs breakfast over micro(mini?) USB, OTG WTF? And the latest debacle USB C is not power delivery PD. It might not even be USB3 speed. Wow, oh my God, wow. Someone needs firing.

I'll start by saying thank you for the videos! They are a huge help as I'm planning my whole home audio set up. How would I add a powered/active subwoofer to a standard 2 speaker zone? I thought it was the pre-amp outs, but after watching your video it looks like I have to use either the speaker outputs or the pre-amp out independently, they cannot be used in conjunction with each other. Am I understanding that correctly?

PA. Does the Soundavo have a feature like Public Address that works with their amps? If so do you know if it cuts off whatever is playing when the PA is enrolled? Thanks excellent videos thanks much.

I know it’s old, but we have an HAI Hi-Fi2 system in our house; I’d love to upgrade it, but that’s a future project, so not an immediate priority. Can I use another system’s keypads to modernize that part in the interim?

You can spray some contact cleaner on and under the switch before removing it from the board, which might solve your issue. I just did this to my old Shortboard MKii and it worked for me.

Love the look, not the implementation. Big knob sticking out? "looks like a volume knob to me!" Certainly not "guest friendly" To not criticize without a solution - Knob default to volume with the awake click. Outside buttons to select mode of rotary encoder. E. G. - Volume (to go back to default) Source Tone Menu (to control another zone, dimming, etc. selectable with encoder click and change with rotation) As implemented they would cause more confusion and with the possibility of breaking off the knobs without any added function - doesn't seem like an upgrade. Good to see you back though, I love my WHA setup you very much guided my way through with your videos.

Struggling on the connection to phone got the op address and port 4999 but not communicating with flex . If you could contact me maybe missing something

I really like these new keypads the only problem I see is users thinking the forward and back buttons are to skip the songs. I will be running these with a Chromecast in the amp. Fairly sure it will not skip the songs with these buttons.

Kadin . I’m hooking up my monoprice just have the rj45 keypads connected no speakers or inputs . All lights on the face come on an all the lights on keypads are working put no keypad foundations yet . Is this normal ?
